Too many to list! One color I LOVE is the purple berries on an American Beautyberry bush. Also the bush is a like a fairy tale in itself, so please take a moment and google this beauty
I am a graphic designer with over a decade of experience in the apparel industry. In that time Local Pop-Up was created and we began to host holiday Pop-Up shops and tent markets for our creative base in and around Baton Rouge. During the pandemic, I created a digital marketplace for our makers to sell their goods on LocalPopUp.Shop and when we were allowed to do so, began hosting markets again. I now host monthly markets at Electric Depot for our 250+ membership base at Local Pop-Up. Local Supply, which is the brick and mortar extension of LPU is a space to showcase local artist and craftspeople, like yourself! We have products from over 100 Louisiana artists and creatives in Local Supply and are celebrating our 2nd anniversary! You will find many of my designs in our ‘Local Looks Good On You’ merch collection in Local Supply and online at localsupplybr.com.
My love to create art along with my devotion to the Local Pop-Up mission, which is to Connect Louisiana Creators & Makers with Local Customers while celebrating all things Louisiana!

Each day is a wild balance of many moving parts! I wake up at 3-4AM most mornings, to do my most important work of the day....when it is most quiet. From when my daughter wakes up, to drop off at school, its a mad dash and my focus is on preparing her for her day. I usually head to Local Supply from drop off, to check up on my team and the goals we have for the day. I also try to fit meetings in during the day, as I pickup Norah from school at 2PM. We usually head home, where I work with my team remotely for the remainder of the day.
I honestly never dreamed I would be a retail business owner, market leader, and artist. I am happy with where life has taken me so far.
The people around me and the unique state we live in inspire me. The work I do is incredibly hard work, but I would not trade it for anything. The community of creatives that has formed with the work I do in Local Pop-Up is incredibly powerful. I see fellow creatives helping one another, leaning on one another, and celebrating one another. We are all after the same goal as small business creatives, so to have the opportunity to continue to cultivate that, is the ultimate inspiration.
At the end of every day, i write down my "6 most important" things to do the following day. When i sit down to work the following morning, I know what I need to do, no question.
Witnessing other creatives grow their businesses, because of the work I do.
